Meet the Team – Swan Lake Event Center

Venue Director

Bailey Gallagher

Bailey has a long history with the event industry. She fell in love with events all the way back in high school after joining the Rochester-based Young Entrepreneurs Academy. Through this program, she went on to win state and regional championships for putting together a series of concerts in the Northeast Ohio area that showcased local music. This opened doors to several Communications and Event Planning internships and programs that she successfully completed throughout her time at the Ohio State University. From there, she began her career in Event Management and Artist Relations working for music festivals and other large-scale events in the Columbus area. Bailey has been with Swan Lake Event Center since our inaugural year, 2019.

Venue Manager and Coordinator

Libbie Rohrs

After spending 14 years as a stay-at-home mom, a friend presented Libbie with the offer to work at his Downtown Columbus event venue on the weekends. Needless to say, she was immediately hooked!

Libbie says she will never forget her first event– It was an off-site, outdoor wedding with 200+ guests and a live band, and it was nothing like the low budget reception held in in a church fellowship hall where she married her husband, Dan, 22 years prior. That was the day she fell in love with weddings and event hospitality, and she has been in the industry ever since.

Sales and Marketing Manager

Miranda Lobdell

Miranda has been involved with weddings for almost her entire career. She started out working on the floor of several different bridal boutiques in the Columbus area and worked her way up to selling weddings at Ceasar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV. Now that she’s moved back home with her daughter and husband, we’re happy to have her as part of our team at Swan Lake.

Facilities Director

Ric Arner

From protecting our communities to managing country clubs, Ric has done it all, which gives him a leg up when it comes to caring for the 20-acre property at Swan Lake. During the week, he leads our maintenance and grounds crew, but you might see him on the weekends in full uniform among the students and teachers at Ohio Wesleyan University. If you see Ric in person, be sure to thank him for his service, and for making our facility beautiful!

Wedding and Events Coordinator

Sarah Ware

During our 2021 wedding season, while she was in her fourth year at the Ohio State University, Sarah interned with us through the summer and fall. Now, after gaining some career experience working in sales and hospitality, she’s back doing what she loves most as our Wedding and Events Coordinator at Swan Lake!

Events Assistant

Allison Mack

Allison has always had a passion for weddings and events. She completed her college internship learning the ins and outs of the industry at another wedding venue in the Central Ohio area, and now acts as our day-of Events Assistant for the majority of our weddings here at Swan Lake!
